Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek is a Registered Physiotherapist and in excellent standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He has over 10 years of overall clinical experience and currently treats numerous orthopedic conditions using Manual Therapy techniques like Mobilization, Soft tissue release (STR), Therapeutic Taping ,Cupping, Acupuncture and Dry needling techniques. Abhishek is fascinated with the concept of mal-alignment in spine leading to pain/dysfunction and specialize in treating the root cause with selective manual techniques and exercises.

He has completed specialized training/courses and has been successfully assessing and treating patients with Vestibular and TMJ Disorders. Abhishek considers himself “a student of life” and yet believes in constant evolvement personally and professionally. On the professional front, he would like to pursue advanced manual therapy and manipulation courses to enhance his clinical skills to the next level. Abhishek is an avid traveller, foodie and enjoys spending time with family and friends. ​

Cynthia Agueci
Registered Kinesiologist

Cynthia Agueci

Cynthia is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and has over 10 years of clinical experience. She graduated with Honors from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science and is a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association. She has advanced her knowledge of the human body by taking courses such as Neuro-proprioceptive taping and body movement, in a Joga workshop.(That's spelled correctly, look it up.) And she is always trying out new work-outs to see what she can bring back to her clients at the clinic.

​She has also been a licensed Zumba instructor for many years teaching classes in various gyms and community centers. 

As a Kinesiologist she believes everyone has the potential to harness the strength within their bodies to heal themselves. She is there as your support system through your journey to improve your own well-being. 

Cynthia is a mom of two little humans, loves to dance and if she could, would eat pizza every day.

Reinard Romero

Reinard graduated with Honors from York University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Kinesiology & Health Science in 2012. He is certified as a Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology since 2012, and he is a Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario since 2020. Reinard utilizes his passion for weightlifting and running. His love for the science behind the movement help guides his practice of Kinesiology to ensure all his clients/patients understand what it takes to prevent injury occurrence, improve and optimize their mobility while keeping their minds and bodies resilient in the process. He believes that a comprehensive exercise program along with strong patient education is a key factor in the recovery process.

Outside of his Kinesiology practice, Reinard enjoys long-distance running, weight lifting, snowboarding, hiking, and going for walks with his dog. He is truly “a Kin on the run” and anything to stay fit, healthy, and moving.



Dr. David Huang

Dr. David Huang, DC has been in practice as a Chiropractor for over 19 years and has worked in a multitude of settings and roles ranging from multidisciplinary clinics to patient case managing. He completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Huang graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic. He subsequently completed his Clinical Acupuncture courses and pursued further studies to be admitted as a Fellow of the Canadian Chiropractic Specialty College of Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Huang has completed Aquatic Physical Therapy and Vertical Water Training courses which he implements in Hydroactive’s pool setting.

Dr. Huang utilizes a wide array of techniques and treatments such as manual therapy, acupuncture, modalities, adjustments, and exercises both on land and in the water to ensure quick and efficient recovery from various injuries and conditions.  Dr. Huang is highly motivated for ongoing professional development and also actively contributes to his profession by serving as a volunteer examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board.

Rafael Gomez

Rafael is a former athlete who pursued his career in Physical Therapy after suffering an injury that ended his career. He obtained a bachelor’s degree abroad in physical therapy, majoring in Sports Science, graduating with honours. Rafael has also obtained a Physical Therapist Assistant diploma to complement his foreign studies. With over ten years of experience in rehabilitation, fitness, and specific sports training with high-performance athletes, Rafael’s passion lies in supporting people from all walks of life in their rehabilitation journey in order to support optimal recovery and health. His belief is that strength and conditioning work best when paired with an understanding of the biomechanical, biochemical, and mental processes that occur in the body which ultimately enable a speedy recovery.

Rafael is a charismatic individual and enthusiastic about coaching patients towards a better quality of life. On a personal note, Rafael is a proud husband and dad to a little girl. He loves sports, Latin Music, travelling and spending time with his family and may have a slight obsession with ice cream!

Charles Jia
Physiotherapy Assistant

Charles Jia

Charles Jia’s passion for biomechanics and rehabilitation started at a young age through sports and continued with him in University. He recently graduated from McGill University with a bachelor of science in kinesiology. Charles loves to engage with patients and have conversations on various topics. Working with the chiropractor and physiotherapist, Charles works closely with patients on their exercises and is there to help aid them on their journey to recovery in any way possible.

Sports are an integral part of his life, participating in activities such as soccer, karate, piano, and hockey during childhood. Charles obtained a second-degree blackbelt in karate and played soccer semi-professionally in Ontario. In his free time, he will watch any sport that is on TV.

Michael Jia

Michael Jia has always been passionate about sports and human kinetics, leading to his completion of a bachelor of science in kinesiology at McGill University. At a young age, Michael played various sports and has played semi-professional soccer as well as obtaining a second-degree black belt in karate.

He loves interacting with patients and always has something to talk about. He works closely with the physiotherapist and the chiropractor, constantly aiding patients with correct biomechanics while performing the exercises. He is committed to helping patients in their journey to recovery.

Michael has a twin brother; try and see if you can tell them apart!
